About Quinta da Mia & Marisa
Get to know us!
Miao, miao! We are Mia, Alberta, Maya-Masala, Mel, and Kuschelino, a mother cat and her four kittens living on a small pedagogical farm in Ginetes. With a stunning view of the sea, we have the privilege to witness the development of a solidary and ecological project around us.
Our Vision
Our owners are dedicated to expanding the farm’s facilities to include additional shelters for small farm animals and accommodations for future project members and workawayers. Through sustainable farming and organic cultivation, our farm demonstrates that even small areas can provide security of supply and rich pedagogical nature experiences when people and animals work harmoniously with nature.

Our Animal Friends

Mia
The original guardian of our garden, keeping it free from mice and rats. Mother to four wonderful kittens who now continue her mission while she enjoys her well-deserved vacation.

Alberta
Our skilled butterfly chaser with a particular fondness for monarchs. Known for her agility and hunting prowess, she enjoys observing the garden’s transformation.

Maya-Masala
The smallest sibling with beautiful mixed-colored fur. Independent spirited and loves joining humans in their outdoor activities.

Mel
Named for their golden-orange fur, Mel is the largest of the siblings. Always on the move but never far from home, acting as a protective presence.

Kuschelino
The affectionate one who loves attention from everyone. Distinguished by a slightly crooked tail and heart patterns in their orange-gold fur.

Brasilia
Our newest family member, bringing their own unique personality to our growing farm community.
